Certification issued free...

Peoples who are not Chinese or even oversea Chinese can't understand the meaning of the title. If I can explain it clearly you possibly understand ... But can I? To understand it you need to know modern Chinese culture, a distorted, utilitarian, money-worshiped "culture". In China the easiest thing can turn to be very complicated, however in some cases the complicated thing can be quite simple. The firts situation is for most of the ordinary peoples who have no power & no money. The second case, of course, is for those officials and toffs.

"办证"...as a typical Chinese culture, indicates the deep corruption of the society as well as ...

Red Mountain monastery

This serie of photos was taken in a trip to the Red Mountain, Shidao County, Shandong, 2006. In the mountain there are some monasteries, however nowadays perhaps no monks there. Those monasteries, status of Budda and Bodhisattva are only for the tourists. Today peoples don't even know how to worship Budda and Bodhisattva, they really don't know ...

The color of campus, Harbin Institute of Technology at Weihai.

I love the late afternoon's color at the campus.

Taking a photo.

My student is taking photo for me.

By the sea (II) ...

My students are seeking little crabs when we play by the seaside. They seemed very happy seeing the tiny crabs scrambling around.

By the sea (I)...

Sunset by the seaside.
Floats ...
Stone in the sea with an iron holder ...
And the stones in the sea...
A road with wood fences by the seaside, Weihai, China.

Harbin Institute of Technology at Weihai (III)

A lamp in the campus.
Behind the main building there is a small park for students, oh, especially a lovely place for lovers.

In the campus, a small white house stands out. It looks so special and beautiful.

The Chinese characters on the wall read "规格严谨,功夫到家". It is the mottos of Harbin Institute of Technology which seemed the ugliest motos for a University I have ever seen in China. The phrases read simply without any aesthetic and literary meaning. Simple... for our University is for training the future engineers who must be rigorous, serious and with the fundamental knowledges.

Harbin Institute of Technology at Weihai (II)

It should be a lovely seat, except the dirty stuffs.

A corner to see the mountains.

The main building of Harbin Institute of Technology at Weihai. The building looks quite similiar to the main building of HIT in Harbin. A russian style building but simplified. If you have been in Moscow, you will find that it looks like the huge building of Moscow State University. However, even the building in Harbin is only a tenth of the buliding of MSU.
